These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through Apex Profiles (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order via our website or by any other means, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

2. Products & Services

Apex Profiles supplies anodised black aluminium profile systems, hardware accessories, pre-built carts, and custom-designed and manufactured products for DIY, commercial, and industrial use.

All product descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for guidance only. Minor variations may occur.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • Payment must be made in full before orders are processed or dispatched.

  • We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time without prior notice.

4. Lead Times

Estimated lead times are as follows:

  • Standard pre-built carts: 5–10 business days

  • Aluminium profile and hardware accessories: 2–4 business days

Lead times are estimates and may vary depending on stock availability, order volume, or unforeseen circumstances. Apex Profiles will not be liable for delays outside of our control.

5. Returns & Refunds

5.1 Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Cut-to-length aluminium profile (custom cut to customer specification)

  • Custom-designed or custom-built products, including bespoke carts, frames, or assemblies

These items are manufactured specifically to order and are excluded from returns.

5.2 Hardware Returns

  • Standard hardware accessories may be returned subject to approval.

  • Returned hardware must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

  • All approved hardware returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

5.3 Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We may request photographs or additional information to assess the issue before authorising a return or replacement.

6. Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before processing or manufacture begins. Once cutting, machining, or custom production has started, cancellation is not possible.

7. Custom Design & Build Projects

Custom projects are quoted and produced based on customer-approved specifications. Once approved and production has commenced:

  • Orders are non-cancellable

  • Products are non-returnable

  • Design responsibility is shared based on the agreed specification

8. Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery.

  • Customers are responsible for inspecting goods upon receipt and reporting issues promptly.

9. Limitation of Liability

Apex Profiles shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of profits, business, or opportunity

  • Damage caused by improper installation, modification, or misuse of products

Our liability shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, product designs, drawings, images, and documentation remain the intellectual property of Apex Profiles unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of order shall apply.
